Description
The Albio 225LS series is characterised by its simple straight lines. It is ideal for large openings, with profiles of high strength and moments of inertia. It shows top performance in thermal insulation thanks to its 24mm polyamides and multi-chambered thermal insulating additions. Watertightness is ensured by EPDM rubbers as well as by the special lift-and-slide (Hebe Shiebe) rolling mechanism. This mechanism enables glazing of large surface areas and thicknesses, as it can move sheets weighing up to 90 kg.
The Albio 225LS sliding system is evolving to offer even greater functionality and modern aesthetics.
- EXALCO adds new low rail drivers to the range that with their discreet design allow for more natural light and at the same time, widen the field of view.
The height of the new rail driver is 33mm and they fully cooperate with the existing profiles and fittings of the range.

The thickness of the glazing should not be less than 4 mm because in these cases it is vulnerable to bending. The longer the distance between the double glazing, the softer the connection between the two panes of glass through the air between them becomes, thus optimising the sound insulation. Asymmetrical glass thicknesses are better than symmetrical ones (e.g. 8-12-4 instead of 6-12-6) because this avoids simultaneous resonance of the glass.
